Un caso di dengue segnalato nel Vicentino

The CDC is reporting that there have currently been 1,100 cases of West Nile Virus reported in the US in 2012, more than ever reported at this point in the year since the virus was first recorded in the US in 1999. VICENZA, 19 AGO - Un caso di febbre dengue è stati riscontrato nel Comune di Barbarano Vicentino, in provincia di Vicenza. A comunicarlo oggi è il Servizio di igiene e sanità pubblica dell'Ulss 8 Berica, che ha ricevuto la segnalazione relativa ad un cittadino italiano che ha soggiornato nel Comune vicentino, pur non essendovi residente. Il trentanovenne era da poco rientrato da un soggiorno in Thailandia, paese in cui la malattia è endemica. Il paziente è in buone condizioni ed è isolato nella sua abitazione.
