WASHINGTON, 20 FEB - L'Ucraina deve "abbassare i toni" delle sue critiche a Donald Trump: e' il monito lanciato dal consigliere per la sicurezza nazionale Usa Mike Waltz, poco prima dell'incontro a Kiev tra il presidente ucraino Volodymyr Zelensky e l'inviato speciale americano per il conflitto russo-ucraino Keith Kellogg. Interrogato dalla Fox News sulla "relazione incrinata" tra Zelensky e Trump, Waltz ha invitato Kiev a "esaminare attentamente la situazione" e a "firmare l'accordo" sui minerali strategici proposto dagli Stati Uniti. Il giorno dopo le sfuriate del presidente americano contro il leader ucraino, che Trump ha definito un "dittatore", Waltz ha definito "inaccettabile" la "cattiva pubblicità" del governo di Kiev nei confronti del presidente americano, evocando "tutto ciò che gli Stati Uniti hanno fatto per l'Ucraina".
