WASHINGTON, 15 OTT - Il comandante del comando centrale Usa, Centcom, l'ammiraglio Brad Cooper, ha chiesto "con urgenza ad Hamas di sospendere immediatamente la violenza e gli spari contro civili palestinesi innocenti, sia nelle zone di Gaza che controlla sia in quelle protette dalle Idf dietro la Linea Gialla". In una nota pubblicata sugli account social del Comando l'ammiraglio sottolinea che "questa è un'opportunità storica per la pace. Hamas dovrebbe coglierla ritirandosi completamente, aderendo rigorosamente al piano di pace in 20 punti del presidente Trump e consegnando le armi senza indugi".
