WASHINGTON, 01 LUG - Donald Trump ha annunciato che Israele ha accettato le condizioni per una tregua di 60 giorni a Gaza. "I miei rappresentanti hanno avuto oggi (martedì) un lungo e produttivo incontro con gli israeliani su Gaza. Israele ha accettato le condizioni necessarie per finalizzare il cessate il fuoco di 60 giorni, durante il quale lavoreremo con tutte le parti per porre fine alla guerra", lo annuncia Trump su Truth. "Qatarioti ed egiziani, che hanno lavorato duramente per contribuire a portare la pace, presenteranno questa proposta finale" ad Hamas. "Spero, per il bene del Medio Oriente, che Hamas accetti questo accordo, perché la situazione non migliorerà, ma peggiorerà", ha concluso il presidente americano.
