MOSCA, 18 SET - Un terremoto di magnitudo 7,8 è stato rilevato al largo della costa della Kamchatka, nell'Estremo Oriente russo, secondo quanto riportato dall'Usgs, l'istituto geofisico americano, pochi giorni dopo un altro forte terremoto nella zona. Il sisma ha colpito 128 chilometri a est della città russa di Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a una profondità di 10 chilometri. Il Centro di allerta tsunami del Pacifico degli Stati Uniti ha diramato un'allerta per possibili onde pericolose lungo le coste vicine.
