OSLO, 11 LUG - L'attivista iraniana per i diritti umani Narges Mohammadi, vincitrice del Nobel per la Pace nel 2023, ha ricevuto minacce di morte da Teheran. Jorgen Watne Frydnes, il presidente del Comitato del Nobel, ha ricevuto una "telefonata urgente" da Mohammadi, ha fatto sapere lo stesso Comitato del premio. "Il messaggio chiaro, nelle sue stesse parole, è che è "stata minacciata direttamente e indirettamente di 'eliminazione fisica' da agenti del regime'" se non smetterà di sostenere la democrazia e i diritti umani, ha annunciato il comitato che ha conferito il premio all'attivista, più volte imprigionata a causa delle sue iniziative.
