PANAMA, 26 FEB - Finora nel 2024, quasi 70.000 migranti hanno attraversato la giungla del Darién, che divide la Colombia da Panama: lo ha riferito il ministro della Sicurezza di Panama, Juan Manuel Pino. "Più di 68.400 persone sono passate dal Panama, poiché il Panama è un Paese di transito", ha spiegato ieri sui social il ministro, aggiungendo che sono 24mila in più rispetto alla stessa data dell'anno scorso. Il viaggio di 106 chilometri attraverso il Darien porta i migranti dalla Colombia al Panama ed è un passo cruciale per coloro che sperano di raggiungere gli Stati Uniti e il Canada.
