ISLAMABAD, 09 FEB - I candidati indipendenti legati all'ex primo ministro in carcere Imran Khan sono in testa alle elezioni in Pakistan, hanno riferito i canali televisivi locali. La commissione elettorale non ha annunciato un singolo risultato ufficiale per l'Assemblea Nazionale più di 11 ore dopo la fine delle elezioni, ma i conteggi non ufficiali dei canali televisivi mostrano che i candidati indipendenti sono in testa nella maggior parte dei collegi. Alla vigilia invece ci si aspettava che il Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz del tre volte premier Nawaz Sharif vincesse il maggior numero di seggi, con il placet dei militari.
