NEW YORK, 30 APR - Un'operazione di terra a Rarah sarebbe una "tragedia senza nome". Lo ha detto il responsabile degli affari umanitari dell'Onu Martin Griffiths dopo che il premier israeliano Benyamin Netanyahu ha avvertito che l'esercito entrerà nella città a sud della Striscia "con o senza accordo" con Hamas. "La verità è che questa operazione sarà semplicemente una tragedia senza nome. Nessun piano umanitario potrà alleviarla", ha aggiunto ricordando che "il mondo da settimane chiede alle autorità israeliane di risparmiare Rafah, ma un'operazione di terra si profila all'orizzonte".
