DAMASCO, 17 LUG - E' salito a oltre 350 morti il bilancio dei violenti scontri iniziati domenica nella provincia meridionale siriana di Sweida, secondo l'Osservatorio siriano per i diritti umani. La organizzazione con sede nel Regno Unito specifica che tra le vittime risultano 79 combattenti drusi e 55 civili, 27 dei quali uccisi in "esecuzioni sommarie da parte di membri dei ministeri della Difesa e dell'Interno". Morti anche 189 membri del personale governativo e 18 combattenti beduini, secondo l'osservatorio.
