Meta, in Ue stop inserzioni a pagamento su sociale o politica

ROMA, 25 LUG - A partire da ottobre Meta non consentirà più nell'Ue la pubblicazione di inserzioni a pagamento relative a temi sociali, elettorali e politici. "Una decisione difficile - afferma - in risposta al nuovo regolamento Ue sulla trasparenza e il targeting della pubblicità politica che implica sfide operative rilevanti e incertezze a livello giuridico" e porta gli utenti "a visualizzare annunci meno personalizzati" sulle piattaforme. "Le nuove misure - aggiunge - non impediranno a cittadini o candidati Ue di pubblicare contenuti e discutere di temi politici. Ma tali contenuti non potranno essere amplificati con inserzioni a pagamento".
