ROMA, 31 MAG - Hamas, secondo alcune fonti ad essa vicine citate da Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, avrebbe un'opinione generalmente positiva, accettata da tutte le fazioni palestinesi, della proposta di tregua di Steve Witkoff, ma vuole rassicurazioni e pone condizioni. "Le fonti - scrive il giornale panarabo con sede a Londra - hanno indicato che la risposta potrebbe essere descritta come positiva dalla leadership di Hamas e da altre fazioni palestinesi, sebbene contenga alcune riserve che devono essere tenute in considerazione". E tale proposta "probabilmente verrebbe accettata se ci fosse una reale volontà americana di fare pressione su Israele".
