ROMA, 11 GIU - Leonardo interrompe le trattative annunciate lo scorso dicembre con Knds "per definire una configurazione comune per il programma Main Battle Tank dell'Esercito Italiano e per sviluppare una più ampia collaborazione industriale". Lo annunciai una nota del gruppo secondo cui la decisione è stata presa "nonostante gli sforzi profusi". Leonardo "conferma il proprio impegno nel fornire all'Esercito Italiano una soluzione performante, interoperabile e aggiornata, che soddisfi le esigenze attuali e rimanga ben posizionata per gli sviluppi futuri verso il Main Ground Combat System, anche attraverso la cooperazione con altri qualificati partner internazionali".
