ROMA, 17 MAG - Israele ha diritto a "esercitare il proprio diritto alla difesa" ma "deve rispettare il diritto internazionale" e l'operazione su larga scala a Rafah "avrebbe conseguenze catastrofiche sulla popolazione civile". In una lettera al ministro degli esteri israeliano Israel Katz, i titolari degli esteri d'Italia, Canada, Danimarca, Francia, Finlandia, Germania, Giappone, Nuova Zelanda, Olanda, Regno Unito, Svezia, Australia e Corea del sud, coordinati da Antonio Tajani per la presidenza del G7, ribadiscono "l'opposizione a un'operazione militare su larga scala a Rafah" e "la richiesta di un piano credibile per proteggere" i civili.
