VERCELLI, 20 APR - Rientravano da una gita scolastica a Praga e il loro pullman è rimasto coinvolto in un incidente stradale sull'autostrada A4 Torino-Milano, nei pressi del casello di Carisio (Vercelli). L'episodio è avvenuto nella notte. Coinvolti diciannove tra studenti e docenti dell'istituto tecnico Europa Unita di Chivasso, che fortunatamente hanno riportato solo un grande spavento. Tutti gli alunni di una classe quinta dell'istituto, con i loro insegnanti, sono rimasti illesi. Coinvolte nell'incidente anche due automobili. Uno dei due guidatori, una donna, ha dovuto ricevere le cure del pronto soccorso, dato che la vettura su cui viaggiava si è ribaltata. Sul posto è intervenuta la polizia stradale di Novara Est, che ha ricostruito l'accaduto: il conducente del pullman non sarebbe riuscito ad evitare il contatto con una delle auto, la quale a sua volta aveva tamponato la prima. Gli alunni hanno fatto rientro a Chivasso a bordo di un secondo pullman, sempre di ritorno dalla gita. Sul posto anche un'equipe sanitaria per i primi soccorsi.
