NEW YORK, 23 APR - Il presidente ad interim di Harvard, Alan Garber, non ha escluso di poter chiamare la polizia per disperdere proteste di studenti pro- palestinesi sul campus pur precisando che l'universita' della Lega dell'Edera ha "una barra molto alta" quando si tratta di decidere il ricorso alle forze dell'ordine. Garber ha parlato dopo che ieri l'ateneo ha chiuso agli estranei l'Harvard Yard e sospeso il suo Comitato di Solidarieta' Palestinese, ordinando al gruppo studentesco di cessare ogni attivita' fino alla fine del semestre o rischiare l'espulsione permanente. Ieri intanto una cinquantina di studenti di Harvard si sono radunati in segno di solidarieta' con una protesta di "scienziati contro il genocidio" organizzata sul campus del Massachusetts Institute of Technology. La protesta di Mit, in corso da domenica sera, consiste in una quindicina di tende con la bandiera palestinese montate su un prato del campus.
