Guterres, 'in Sudan incubo di fame, malattie e violenza etnica'

NEW YORK, 28 OTT - Il popolo sudanese soffre ogni giorno di più, vivendo un "incubo" di fame, malattie e "massiccia violenza etnica", soprattutto in Darfur. Lo ha denunciato il segretario generale Onu Antonio Guterres al Consiglio di Sicurezza. "La sofferenza aumenta di giorno in giorno", ha aggiunto: "La popolazione del Sudan sta vivendo un incubo di violenza, con migliaia di civili uccisi e innumerevoli altri che affrontano atrocità indicibili, tra cui stupri e aggressioni sessuali diffuse".
