LONDRA, 24 GIU - Il Regno Unito ripristinerà il deterrente nucleare aereo all'interno della Nato, integrando l'attuale deterrente basato su sottomarini, con l'acquisto di 12 jet F-35 in grado di trasportare testate nucleari. Lo ha annunciato Downing Street in un comunicato. Il primo ministro britannico Keir Starmer annuncerà domani al vertice dell'Aja questo acquisto, descritto come "il più grande rafforzamento della posizione nucleare del Regno Unito da una generazione", che gli consentirà di aumentare il suo contributo alla missione di deterrenza dell'Alleanza.
