'Operazione di polizia in Brasile...' delle 12:06) RIO DE JANEIRO, 08 FEB - L'ex presidente brasiliano, Jair Bolsonaro, al quale è stato intimato di consegnare il passaporto entro 24 ore ed è stato vietato di lasciare il Paese, afferma di essere oggetto di "una persecuzione implacabile". "Ho lasciato il governo più di un anno fa e continuo a subire una persecuzione implacabile", ha detto parlando con la Folha di SP. "Lasciatemi stare, c'è già qualcun altro a governare il Paese", ha aggiunto. Bolsonaro ha detto che sta cercando di informarsi sulle perquisizioni, i sequestri e gli arresti e di non poter rilasciare ulteriori dichiarazioni: "Sto cercando di capire, sembra che sia una nuova inchiesta". Da stamani perquisizioni sono in corso nelle residenze e negli uffici, tra gli altri, dei generali Braga Netto, Augusto Heleno e Paulo Sérgio Nogueira, dell'ex ministro della Difesa Anderson Torres, nonché del presidente del Partito liberale (Pl, di destra) di Bolsonaro, Valdemar Costa Neto nell'ambito di un'indagine sull'attacco ai Palazzi della democrazia dell'8 gennaio 2023.
