ISTANBUL, 21 MAR - Almeno diecimila persone si stanno dirigendo verso il comune di Istanbul dove è in programma in serata una protesta convocata dal maggior partito di opposizione Chp contro l'arresto del sindaco della città sul Bosforo, Ekrem Imamoglu, in custodia con l'accusa di corruzione e terrorismo. La protesta per Imamoglu, ritenuto il principale rivale del presidente Recep Tayyip Erdogan, è stata vietata e la zona del comune è stata chiusa al traffico ed è presidiata da un grande numero di agenti e mezzi blindati.
