Several wildfires swept across northern Macedonia, prompting a 30-day state of emergency. Planes and helicopters from Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey have arrived to help fight the fires. BELGRADO, 19 LUG - In Serbia negli ultimi 10 giorni sono stati spenti più di 1.400 incendi, con la mobilitazione di oltre 4 mila vigili del fuoco e circa 1.700 mezzi di soccorso. Nel darne oggi notizia, il ministero dell'Interno ha riferito che complessivamente sono rimaste ferite 14 persone, mentre altre 15 sono state messe in salvo. L'intervento dei soccorritori ha risparmiato dalle fiamme centinaia fra case, veicoli, animali domestici, campi coltivati. Nel Paese balcanico, dopo una breve pausa con temperature più accettabili, è attesa una nuova ondata di caldo torrido con punte fino a 40 gradi.
