LIVERPOOL -  Eccolo lì. Finito ancora sulle prime pagine di tutti i tabloid britannici e non solo. Il «fenomeno» Mario Balotelli continua a far parlare di sé. Questa volta è stato pizzicato all’uscita di un night club di Liverpool alle tre di notte. Nulla di scandaloso, certo, per un ragazzo di 22 anni, ma non se il giorno dopo sei chiamato ad entrare in campo e giocare per la tua squadra. Non se sei pagato più di tre milioni, netti, all’anno. Non se sei, purtroppo, l’esempio di molti giovani calciatori. Non se ti chiami Balotelli, e molte, troppe persone hanno riposto in te la loro fiducia.

La risposta del Manchester City è stata una multa di sole, visto che si tratta di un ventenne ultramilionario, 250 mila sterline. Dirigenti e allenatore si sono definiti «affranti e delusi», ancora una volta.

Non c’è da stupirsi se poi anche i «nostri» giovani prendono esempio dai loro beniamini, se giornali e riviste sventolano notizie come queste come fossero grandi scoop. Non sarebbe meglio dare visibilità a notizie che possano realmente attrarre i giovani e divulgare esempi con, sempre che ne siano rimasti, valori e sani principi? E quanto a te, caro Mario, vedi di prenderti qualche responsabilità e farti notare, visto che sei in grado, sul campo e non fuori.
«Why always me?», no. Dovremmo essere noi a chiederti «why always you, Mario?».

Why always you, Mario?

LIVERPOOL - Again. Finished on the headlines of all the British tabloids and not only those. The «phenomenon» Mario Balotelli continues to be talked about. This time it's been caught leaving a nightclub in Liverpool at three o'clock at night. Nothing strange, of course, for a boy of 22 years, but not if the next day you are called to enter the field and play for your team. Not if you are paid more than three million per year. Not if you are, unfortunately, the example of many young players. Not if your name is Balotelli, and many, too people have placed their trust in you.

From Manchester City he was fined only 250 thousand pounds. «Only» becouse we are talking about a twenty-year old millionaire. Managers and trainers have been defined «heartbroken and disappointed»,once again.

Not surprisingly, if also «our» young take example from their idols, if newspapers and magazines wave these news as scoops. Could it be better if newspapers gave more visibility to news that can really attract the young and spread examples of healthy values and principles? And about you, dear Mario,  take some responsibility and let notice you in the field and not outside, because you can. «Why always me?», No. «Why always you, Mario?».
